1. Ownership and Intellectual Property

This Tool and all its content, design, branding and code is the exclusive intellectual property of ISO Xpert Ltd. All rights reserved. Reproduction or redistribution without prior written consent is prohibited.

2. Permitted Use

• Internal, non-commercial gap analysis against ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
• Exporting and retaining reports for internal accreditation preparation records.
• Sharing reports within your laboratory or organisation.

3. Prohibited Use

• Redistribution, resale or sublicensing of this tool.
• Removing or altering copyright notices or ISO Xpert branding.
• Reverse engineering for commercial purposes.

4. Laboratory Accreditation Disclaimer

This Tool is provided "as is" for informational and self-assessment purposes only. ISO Xpert does not provide accreditation services and this tool is not affiliated with or endorsed by any national accreditation body including UKAS, DAkkS, COFRAC, A2LA, or any ILAC member body.

Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 requires formal assessment by a competent national accreditation body. The outcomes of this gap analysis tool do not constitute accreditation, a pre-assessment, or any assurance of accreditation readiness. Technical requirements — particularly measurement uncertainty, method validation, and metrological traceability — must be reviewed by qualified technical experts and assessed by the relevant accreditation body against the specific scope of accreditation sought.

5. ISO Standards Reference

References to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 are for guidance only. The authoritative version must be obtained from ISO, IEC or national standards bodies.
