Fairtrade International Standards — Gap Analysis
Fairtrade International Standards — Producer & Trader RequirementsAbout Fairtrade International Standards
Fairtrade International (FLO) sets the Fairtrade Standards used for certification by FLOCERT and other independent certification bodies. The standards cover four producer setups: Small Producer Organisations (SPOs), Hired Labour (HL), Contract Production (CP), and Traders. They include social criteria (decent work, no child or forced labour), economic criteria (Fairtrade Minimum Price, Fairtrade Premium), environmental criteria (sustainable agriculture, biodiversity, agrochemicals) and trading criteria (long-term relationships, pre-financing).
